Our Mission

Everyday products, crafted with faith, love, and care.

During a recent mission trip to Africa, we had the privilege of meeting incredible women whose strength and resilience left a lasting impression on our hearts. Many of these women were educated, spoke English, and carried big dreams for their futures. Yet, because of extreme poverty and limited job opportunities, some were forced into prostitution simply to survive.

Those encounters ignited a deeper mission within us.

At Kohav, our products are more than just items — they carry a purpose. Each candle is an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the world. We want to find fun and creative ways to make Christ known and invite others to be part of shining His light. Our candles are designed to be a reminder that even the smallest light can illuminate darkness.

Our vision extends beyond candles. Our ultimate goal is to build a community center in Burkina Faso — a safe and empowering place where individuals can learn sustainable skills, receive English education for future job opportunities, and experience dignity, rest, and hope. We want to create opportunities that open doors, restore purpose, and help transform lives.

Every candle lit represents more than a beautiful product — it represents hope, opportunity, and the light of the Gospel reaching further into the world.

We are dreaming big. And we believe that through hard work, meaningful partnerships, and a shared commitment to making a difference, we can bring lasting change — one life, one family, and one community at a time.

Kohav candles truly are the gift that keeps on giving.

Where it began

KOHAV Candle Company was born from both a spark of light and a spark of faith. During a mission trip to Africa, founders Elizabeth and Tiffany felt a stirring in their hearts. On a layover in Turkey, the vision became clear: combine their lifelong love of candles with their passion for serving others. What began as a passing idea soon grew into a calling—to create candles that reach hearts and homes while giving back to the mission field that first inspired them
